1. Acceptance of Terms

4. Marketplace Rules
Sisteren provides tools that allow members to list items to sell, buy, exchange, or give away. Unless Sisteren expressly states otherwise, Sisteren is not the buyer, seller, owner, or distributor of items listed by members and does not take possession of those items. Members are responsible for their own listings, communications, transactions, payments, shipping, pickup arrangements, refunds, and compliance with applicable laws. Members must accurately describe items and may not list illegal, stolen, counterfeit, dangerous, recalled, or otherwise prohibited items.
5. Transactions Between Members
Transactions arranged through Sisteren are generally made directly between members. Members are responsible for deciding how payments, shipping, delivery, pickup, exchanges, or free-item transfers will occur. Sisteren does not guarantee the identity, conduct, reliability, quality, safety, legality, or accuracy of any member, listing, item, or transaction. Members should use reasonable caution when dealing with people they meet through the platform.
6. User Content
Members may post profiles, photos, comments, messages, marketplace listings, and other content on Sisteren. You retain ownership of content you create, but by posting content on Sisteren, you grant Sisteren permission to host, store, display, reproduce, and use that content as reasonably necessary to operate and provide the platform. You are responsible for ensuring that content you post does not violate another person’s rights or applicable law.
7. Safety and In-Person Exchange
Members are responsible for exercising caution when communicating with others or arranging in-person transactions. When possible, members should meet in a safe public location, avoid unnecessarily sharing sensitive personal information, and use additional caution when minors are involved. Sisteren cannot guarantee the safety or conduct of members during interactions or transactions that occur outside the platform.
8. Prohibited Activities
Members may not use Sisteren for unlawful, fraudulent, abusive, deceptive, or harmful activities. This includes attempting to scam other members, posting prohibited items, sending spam, interfering with the operation or security of the website, attempting to access another member’s account without permission, or using Sisteren in a way that violates applicable laws or the rights of others.
9. Reporting, Blocking, and Enforcement
Sisteren may provide tools that allow members to report content or other users and to block unwanted interactions. Sisteren may review reported activity and may remove content, restrict features, suspend accounts, or terminate accounts when reasonably necessary to protect the community, enforce these Terms, or comply with legal obligations. Sisteren is not required to resolve private disagreements or disputes between members.
10. No Guarantee of Transaction
Sisteren does not guarantee that an item will sell, that a buyer will complete a purchase, that a seller will deliver an item, or that an item offered for free or exchange will remain available. Members enter into transactions with other members at their own discretion and are responsible for evaluating listings and communicating with one another before completing a transaction.
11. Intellectual Property
The Sisteren name, branding, logo, website design, and original platform content are owned by or licensed to Sisteren and may not be copied, reproduced, distributed, or used without permission. These rights do not include content that members independently create and own.
12. Account Suspension or Termination
Sisteren may restrict, suspend, or terminate access to an account when a member violates these Terms, creates a safety or security risk, engages in fraudulent or abusive conduct, or uses the platform unlawfully. Members may also stop using Sisteren or request deletion of their account, subject to applicable retention requirements.
13. Disclaimer of Warrants
Sisteren is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis to the extent permitted by law. We do not guarantee that the website will always be available, uninterrupted, error-free, or completely secure, or that information provided by other members will always be accurate or reliable.
14. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Sisteren will not be responsible for losses, damages, injuries, disputes, or other claims resulting from interactions or transactions between members, member-posted content, third-party services, or unauthorized use of the platform. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded.
15. Changes to These Terms
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Sisteren will not be responsible for losses, damages, injuries, disputes, or other claims resulting from interactions or transactions between members, member-posted content, third-party services, or unauthorized use of the platform. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded.
